The car was now out of warranty but the dealer gave us one free fix because the history of the car.

Here is part of the letter I sent to Hyundai USA regarding the problem.

"While we appreciate that the warranty has been exceeded, we also believe that the problem is beyond just bad luck.

04/04/06 Mileage: 32,495 A/C Compressor replaced 05/02/06 Mileage: 33,097 Bad O-Ring on suction line 06/27/06 Mileage: 34,310 Suction hose replaced 05/21/07 Mileage: 40,043 No resolution noted ???? 09/24/07 Mileage: 41,326 No document with the resolution of the problem after 1 week in shop. 08/21/08 Mileage: 45,418 Replace cabin air cleaner 09/08/08 Mileage: 45,568 Replace the suction line.

The history of this problem suggests three possibilities. Poor engineering of the Hyundai air handling system, poor quality of parts used in the air handling system, or poor quality of maintenance. "

I have come to the conclusion that the word HYUNDAI is Korean for crap!
