Had this car for 7 years, then a thumping noise started about a month ago. Happens at street speed about 30-40 mph. I've changed out the shocks and brake pads, but the no avail, noise continues. After read on rear control arm/corrosion problems will check that next. problem does affect driving or braking, just an annoying noise, I'm fairly mechanical, have not taken it to the ripoff pimps at the dealer until it worsens or i have ruke all other causes. just here to inform the public.
