The contact owns a 2006 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that the air bag warning lamp illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the passenger seat air bag sensor needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign id number: 08V161000 (air bags) and was not repaired. The failure mileage was 68,000 and the current mileage was 68,300.
