I was going to my local gym and parked like normal. However on this particular day, I put the car on brake and park and the Sonata decides to accelerate forward and braking doesn't solve it. The brakes were just replaced in March 2018 so it wasn't the brakes. It ends up reaching closer to the building. So to avoid further damage I swerve to the left and the right side of my car crashes. Once the car hits the building, the vehicle resets itself and I was able to back up. Fortunately the building was sparred any significant damage but it was rather embarrassing to be put in that situation when it was it a mechanical fault.
