I was doing a review on YouTube for this car and went on here to find problems with it. Immediately, I remembered a spot of bare metal left exposed for paint chipping off and thought "wait, this is a common issue?" The reason I'm vague about the mileage and such is because it was there when I got the car.

paint chipping off,

I am very dissatisfied with the paint job on this car. I have probably had 10 cars in my life time and have never had this happen before. I have lived in the same area all of my life so environment is not the issue! What type of resolutions are available?

Just noticed that my 2009 Sonota has paint flaking off. I'm not sure what my options are at this point. I'm going to dealership to see what or if they will do anything. If it is not handled, it will end up an ugly mess as the car is in mint condition.

I am very annoyed by this. Paint should not be doing this!!!

Sonata Limited 3.2L

When I bought this car I was told the Paint was the best. I have had it detailed and the paint looked great for awhile. Then I started noticing white chips all over my car! Car is Burgundy! Where these chips are there is no way it is done by rocks. I am VERY disappointed in Hyundai! I have several other complaints I will add later.

I loved my car until by 50-60K things started happening! Oh and the extended warranty is a joke! I was told covers bumper to bumper, another lie! I also noticed that when I did have the dealership paint under the drivers door (because paint was screwed up when new) that at first it looked OK and blended fine, now it looks bubbly and fish-eyed. I moved to another state and that was 70K ago so I am positive nothing can be done now.
