Well, my third handle has broken. Sonata should be doing a recall on these handles. Now it's the DRIVER door. One would have to get in the passenger front seat, reach across to the driver door, use the door latch from the inside, push it open then get out, walk around the car and climb in on the driver's side. ANOTHER big problem: Sonata's are built so cheaply that the only way to unlock the doors from the outside is to use the key on the driver door, open the driver door, then push the unlock button. if i can't unlock the door from the driver side, the CAR MUST REMAIN UNLOCKED. The biggest problem for me is that, due to a stroke, I'd be afraid to drive it anyway because if the last door lock breaks, we'd have to break a window to get in.

SONATA NEEDS TO HAVE A RECALL ON THESE HANDLES and fix every last one of them!

The first handle broke when I went to open the right rear door and the door wouldn't unlatch. Oh, great, now I have to roll down the back window, reach into the inside and open the door. Quite a hassle when grandkids are waiting for a ride home and it's raining! Seems like quite a few have reported this problem.

This is the second door handle to quit working since I have had the car (not even a year). The back seat passenger side door handle quit working after I just had the driver's side fixed 6 months prior.

Update from Dec 29, 2014: Well, I already have 1 door handle broken in the back seat and now both door handles are broken.

I came out of church on Sunday 9/1/13 and could not open back passenger door from the outside. My son took the car to the dealer where I purchased it and 9/3/13 and was told it would be $80 just to look at it because it was not under warranty and whatever the cost they would take the $80 from the cost, have not gotten it fixed yet , low and behold on 9/4/13 came out of the grocery store and the same thing with the front passenger door, could not open it from the outside, what a pain in the a_ _. Now, someone tell me that this is not a manufacture defect, and you tell me this is not under some type of warranty. HELP
