Sonata GLS

My heat used to work REALLY good, gave off strong heat even when the heat wasn't on at all... All of a sudden, out of nowhere, the heat stops working. Only works on high now. All winter long, heat blasts in my face, then I turn it off cause it's too hot, and the cycle continues over and over. Haven't gotten a repair estimate yet because I'm worried it will cost a fortune to fix.
