This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Hyundai dealer.
The solution, according to the tech, is to replace the head unit. I paid for the option of GPS at the purchase but they refuse to cover the repair despite it being a defect in manufacture or software but because my car is nearly 5 years old, they won't cover the repair.
PIECE OF CRAP. If you're researching stay away from Hyundai, they may look nice and get "initial quality" awards but it won't last. These are obviously cars designed to look good on the lot but they aren't designed for longevity.

The sound for the everything from blue tooth to the radio would stop working. I would stop the car, restart and it would come on again. The Navigation system was replaced under warranty. It still happened every couple of months and resolved itself; however, it has officially stopped again all together. The issue was never resolved.
