So this is my 4th problem with my 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS I purchased in Sept. 2014
Every time I tap my brake peddle I get a clicking sound and feel in my shifter. Went to Hyundai about it.. They are aware of the problem and can't do anything about it...
Read below my overall problems with this car, and Car-max...
I have had a lot of issues with cars in the past. Every car I have had, comes with issues not long after purchase. and that's 7 different vehicles... Maybe i just have bad luck, but when buying from car-max, i expect deep attention to detail, mechanical problems, and issues pertaining to each vehicle.
Every single light bulb on the exterior blew within a month of having the car. My front left axle was cracked... how was this not even noticed when the car was inspected to be placed for sale. Starter went out recently, of course after Manufacture warranty was over... go figure!
When my first headlight blew I had Carmax fix it. It was returned to me with nuts and bolts sitting in the pocket of my windshield wipers. They didn't even manage to put all the bolts back in. But here is my problem. Why were bolts taken out to replace a bulb??? The bolts, come to find out came from my intake! Why you taking my intake off???
So to appease me for that, they offer to pay to fill up my tank for free.. Uuuuummm not much help that was, seeing as my tank was 1 bar less than a full! Also, a free oil change.. uhhh my first oil change t Car-max is already free... but you know i was like whatever! Rather not deal with them anymore...
So then later on I hear a pop in my front left wheel well every time i make a sharp right turn. So i take it to a Hyundai dealership. The problem is a cracked axle... FML, more problems. So they fix for free cause warranty is in place.
My starter went out recently, so i did research on it to see if people are having the same problem... To my surprise, i find a class action lawsuit for engine failure. is this what i am to look forward to in the future. When will it end!!
Don't even want to remember the fact that when changing my stock wheels over to newly purchased rims, one of my rear right struts snapped because some idiot decided to re-thread it when putting on the stock wheels.
Or even the fact that there is a clicking sound and feel coming from my shifter every time I tap the break peddle. Hyundai's response to this was ( we know about the issue and its a common issue and there isn't anything we can do)""
