The contact owns a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated the engine light was illuminated on the instrumental panel on an intermittent basis. The vehicle was inspected by a dealer who informed the contact that the thermostat had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired four times in six months. The failure mileage was approximately 5,000.
