All I here is clicking as I reverse my car. I just want to know, how can my 2011 Hyundai Sonata, have front and rear broken axles... That's crazy. Georgia don't have many pot holes, and I' am a very hell of fire driver. I was also told that there was a recall on the 2011 Hyundai Sonata as of 2014. I never receive anything..

I'VE HAD MY AXLES REPLACED UNDER THE RECALL. BUT WHEN I HEARD THE SAME CRACKING NOISE I TOOK MY CAR BACK IN AND I WAS TOLD MY CAR COULD NOT BE FIXED BECAUSE IT'S OUT OF WARRANTY. BUT I FEEL IF IT'S UNDER A RECALL IT SHOULD BE FIXED AS LONG AS I OWN MY VEHICLE. I LIKE MY CAR BUT THE PROBLEMS THAT COME WITH IT IS A DAMN HEADACHE.

So this is my 3rd issue with my used 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS.
Axle was cracked, how this was overlooked by Car-max, is beyond my comprehension. What i do know is that it should never have been placed for sale.
Overall complaint with everything dealing with this car... Read for yourself!!!
I have had a lot of issues with cars in the past. Every car I have had, comes with issues not long after purchase. and that's 7 different vehicles... Maybe I just have bad luck, but when buying from Carmax, I expect deep attention to detail, mechanical problems, and issues pertaining to each vehicle.
Every single light bulb on the exterior blew within a month of having the car.
My front left axle was cracked... how was this not even noticed when the car was inspected to be placed for sale. Starter went out recently, of course after Manufacture warranty was over... go figure!

In April of 2015, I had a loud clicking and popping noise coming from the front end. It got louder as the month went on. In may for my next oil change, I had them check it out. They couldn't replicate the issue, which does not surprise me at all, since that is what they say every time something is wrong with the vehicle. I made them test it again. What a frickin surprise they heard it! So it got replaced.
Fast forward April 2017. Irony. My front end was not making the sounds this time but was violently shaking. Aside from the issue being the transmission, they also found that the axle was bad again. May 2017 comes, they replace one side. Still shaking. They do the other side. Still shaking. So they end up replacing the entire thing with a brand new one off the lot. Car seemed fine then.
August 2017 comes, and it is starting to get the shaking back, slightly. Enough to annoy the heck out of you, especially since you already know that the issue is. I have not gone back to get it checked again, but will soon as it gets worse. SMH, this car is just riddled with issues.
