This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Hyundai dealer.
On 11-28-2015, I Marcal Bolden purchased a 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited edition from All Star Hyundai on Airline Hwy, Baton Rouge, La. the salesman was Layne, upon purchase of the 2011 Sonata, I noticed a severe pulling of the front end of the car and the following day I returned the car to the dealership of purchase and explained the problem, car salesman turned problem over to assistant manager, Justin for solutions, after, Justin and I decided that there was no problem because the car was still under manufacture's warranty and I had purchased an extended warranty it would be taken care of. The following day the problem was addressed in writing on my reciept of purchase in writing, stating, "I will get car aligned or fix the problem. The alignment has been done twice and the problem still exists. I agreed to purchase two new tires and All Star purchased two to help repair the problem, however, I feel that I should not have to spend money on repairs b/c this problem was thoroughly talked and brought to attention of all including the manager, Lea',in first 24 hours, I could have killed the contract but I trusted all to be honorable and after first contact with manager, I was never able to speak with him again. I also contact Exxon federal Credit Union who financed the car and asked them to hold payment, because I had found a problem with the car and on Dec 8 2015, check as released to All Star Hyundai.Hyundai, is becoming and increasing car in our region which is why I purchased it as a work vehicle and because of the 100K warranty, however it is not working for me. On Sept 2015, I learned ALSO the steering shaft had been replaced which was not divulged to me at the purchase of car. I was disappointed with the magnitude of disrespect shown to me with purchase of this Sonata, because, assistant manager Justin also accused me of having hit the car and trying to claim the car was wrecked after I purchased it. Now intergity is very high on my list and I work hard daily with 35 years of experienced skills.
Assistant manager, also was very rude and totally unprofessional. Hopefully, Hyundai manufacturer will make things right in lieu of your local dealerships.
Sincerely,
Marcal Bolden

I bought this car and it started pulling hard under light, medium, and heavy acceleration. I figured it was my tires. re-balanced, alignment done and checked air in tires, I'm also a mechanic.. I researched and apparently there is a lot of complaints about this issue in the 2011 2.0 turbo. Its dangerous if you consider accelerating . Car fights you left and right. constantly having to correct the pull, it seems to always want to pull to the left even just casual driving.. This NEEDS TO BE FIXED... How is this not a recall? This is peoples lives at stake, Don't make a mistake like GM did.

Since day 1, the car has pulled to the left pretty badly. I brought it in, figuring the alignment was off. The tech told me that sometimes with new vehicles, it takes a little while to get the specs right on these types of things. An alignment didn't fix it. A second alignment didn't fix it either. Then I took a ride with the tech and he told me the pull I was feeling was the pitch of the road. That told me that they didn't know why this was happening.
I let it alone for a while. It's my wife's car and she wasn't complaining about it and it never got worse.
Now I'm reading about this issue and I'm pissed that Atlantic Hyundai never contacted me.They have a fix. I was just in the dealership a few months ago asking about this and they told me there was no problem.
I think I need a good lawyer.

VEHICLE PULLS TO THE LEFT DURING ACCELERATION. It's not an alignment issue but a steering control issue. It will pull left with the least bit of crown in the road. There are a ton of similar complaints out there so be aware before you buy. I am bringing my vehicle to the dealer this week to start the process of getting it replaced under the lemon law.
