I was trying to change the brakes on my 2011 Hyundai Sonata. As I was removing the fourth nut from the wheel studs the wheel stud cracked in half, taking the nut along with it. I was annoyed because what was supposed to be a 45 minute job took over seven hours to change. I went to the auto parts store and got the parts needed to correct the issue. Once I was able to remove the cracked wheels stud from the car I was even further annoyed that I could not replace the wheel stud because of poor design without hammering the wheel assembly enough to fit the new stud through the hole. I finally was able to replace the broken stud, but if this ever happens again I will be taking it in to be serviced.
