stereo display not working properly

Once upon a time, when starting my car I was greeted with the following screen. I reset the screen according to the user manual protocol to no effect. The radio and climate still work, but I cannot see anything on the screen to control or switch between functions. I took the car to be serviced at Downey Hyundai. They told me that they couldn't figure it out, literally saying "I dunno..." A dealership. A Hyundai dealership! uhg.

The car has also been taken into Glendale Hyundai (on another more serious issue) and I added this to the service request. Their reply; "uhm yeah, this could be $700 or $3000 it just depends on what's causing it".

To which I reply; "ok, go ahead and figure out what's causing it".

I will update post when I hear back from them.

sirius radio display/cd display

I do have a video of it, but I couldn't get it transferred to this web site. This has been a problem since I purchased the car, They supposedly changed out the radio, but it did not work any better. The display will not show the next song on Sirius XM. It stays on the same thing until you turn the volume knob a little, then it will change. Same thing happens on CD's you play. It remains on track 1 and will not advance to the next display. It does play correctly, but does not change the display. I guess they think I should be happy with this, but after 2 1/2 years I am totally frustrated. Every time I have complained they say the technician could find nothing wrong. I drove it around the block after picking it up on Friday. It was still messing up, so I drove it right back. Now they say they will try to secure a new radio. Ok, but that didn't help before. I just want it fixed!! It is annoying.

Update from Jul 3, 2016: Hyundai approved a new radio and it was installed. The new radio is working properly and I am very HAPPY! I again love my car.
