Solution Got 14 city 17 hwy, their service dept in Flushing had the car for two hours. I called to see if the car is ready, they never even checked to see if it was some simple fix. How do I KNOW THEY DID NOTHING, BECAUSE I ASKED, they told me that's a manufacturer problem, not service. So why didn't they tell me that 2 hrs ago? SO I called Hyundai Corporation documented, got gas receipts, went to the service dept to have mileage verified. HYUNDAI got back to me and said 14/17 mpg in NYC is normal...only 1500 miles on the car ...
My solution, traded it in for a 2014 Subaru.

My vehicle is NOT giving MPG per Hyundai Specifications - 24/28/35. I contacted Hyundai a couple of times but no resolution yet. Not sure what to do. The average I get is less than 24. ( 30 to 40 local and 60 to 70% highway miles)

Purchased the vehicle 2 days ago. Vehicle does not hold gas! Going from one corner to the next the gas meter drops as if it used a gallon within 2 blocks. Unbelievable!!!!!
