Hyundai conveniently times these issues for just past 60000 miles obviously and since I'm the second owner........bought it from a dealer.......I'm the one who gets screwed. Wiring harness, temperature sensor, gasket, transmission fluid and labor for $600+. Must be a common issue since it was one of the options when entering this complaint and I didn't even have to type it in.

The gearbox has stuck at gear 4, it does bot change to lower gear (1, 2 & 3) or upper gears like (5 & 6). The gas/fuel consumption is very high & I fuel almost everyday.

shifting harshly upon acceleration and deceleration
I took the car in at 110,000 miles to Riverside Hyundai, because my car was shifting harshly when I sped up and slowed down especially when it was hot outside. Problem was, it did not do it all the time, and there was no check engine light. I took it to riverside Hyundai and David Ruiz charged me $150 to look at the car just to tell me that I imagined the problem. at 118,000 miles, it started doing it all the time, check engine light went on, so I hit the blue link button, and the car transmitted the trouble code to the dealer in Ontario, California who fixed the problem covered under my extended warranty

2013 Hyundai Sonata just started slamming when you put it in drive and downshifting very roughly below 30mph, no check engine light or error code. I'm the 2nd owner I purchased it Certified Pre-owned from Hyundai Dealer
