The contact owns a 2017 Hyundai Sonata. While driving at an unknown speed, the sun roof exploded and glass shattered without warning. There were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to visalia Hyundai (559-302-9702, located at 220 S. ben maddox way, visalia, ca 93292) where it was determined that there was no recall and that the warranty did not cover the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000.
