A/C not working A/C not working

I purchased HYUNDAI SONATA 2018, VIN: 5NPE34AF8JH698448 On May 31st 2018 from dealership AGINCOURT HYUNDAI, 2730 MARKHAM RD, SCARBOROUGH, ON, M1X1E6. Unfortunately, the vehicle developed issues with air conditioning system within 2 weeks time. On June 19th 2018, service centre mechanic inspected my vehicle and advised that some A/C parts need to be replaced and they would need car for a day or two to fix the problem. Unfortunately I had to leave for back home due to medical emergency there. On my return, I brought back the car for repair on 5th July 2018 and I was advised that it will be fixed with a day or two, after 10 days they give me car and within a 2 day I faced same issue now. I had given them car on 2nd August 2018 and now more than 10 days past, people still tell me same argument, that we don’t have parts. I told them that this is company's fault but they do not accept.

Sonata Limited

  • Automatic transmission

July 25th, 2018 14,000 miles on car and AC putting out warm air.

July 25th Stopped at Joseph Airport Hyundai, Vandalia, OH, on way from Cleveland to home in Richmond, IN. No equipment to service the new Sonata 2018 AC.

July 26th Called Dellen Hyundai, Muncie, IN, no openings for service until 8/17 (22 days).

July 27th Called Superior Hyundai, Fairfied, OH, no openings for service until 8/8 (12 days), had no choice so I made an 11:00 appointment.

August 8th Drove 1H20M & Arrived at Superior Hyundai. Was told there was a defect in a line and had to order a part. Drove 1H20M back to Richmond.

September 7th My car was brought back to me in Richmond, Indiana. They took the rental, filled my gas tank and finally, left my car in my driveway.

It took 45 days to get my AC fixed on a 2018 Sonata Limited with only 14,000 miles, during the hottest months of the year. I like the car but the Hyundai warranty service at your dealerships is lacking. I would like to know what your response is concerning the nightmare my wife and I had to go through. You would think with the temperatures in the 90's, your dealerships would make exceptions and work customers in for critical components such as AC. It is very sad that some of your dealerships do not have the equipment or the trained personnel to perform a simple AC repair. It is doubtful whether I will buy another Hyundai! I should have stayed with Toyota! The Better Business Bureau should be notified of your the warranty service you claim to provide but don't. Sad...Sad....Sad!
