Okay. I am not sure if Hyundai is trying to cover it up or not. I know exactly when this happened. I was driving to hospital around 6am and I had absolutely no warning signs on dashboard. I always check my dashboard before I go somewhere. I arrived at the hospital and parked my car in hospital parking area. When I parked it was like indoor parking lot and there were many cars around my car where I parked.
I come back from hospital approximately 2 hours after. I turn the engine on. I see a warning sign for Blind Spot Collision Warning Sign (BSC). I had no sign of anyone hitting my car and I also have videocamera that records after I park my car just in case if someone hits my car it records. No sign, No dent of someone touching my car. I take it to Hyundai because I thought it was some kind of error from Hyundai company. After they diagnose, they say a rodent chewed my blind spot collision wires. Well if you look at the picture, how the heck a rodent would chew the wires and hard plastic cover that was protecting wires and 4 of the wires in 2 hours. When I look at the picture, I just can not believe that is a rodent. Maybe it was burnt or something or maybe it was a rodent.
This feels like Hyundai is trying to cover it up or something. Even if it was rodent, warranty should absolutely cover the damage because I read from somewhere that Hyundai uses soy based wiring coat. Heard company was sued from using soy based. But I'm not sure why rodents would still chew that if they weren't using soy based coating. If anyone can actually tell me by looking at the photo that i uploaded if its burnt or really rodents chewed it up. I will take the post down. But even then I want to complain that rodents can chew Hyundai wires. I did not fix it yet because it would cost me 1000 dollars to repair for the damage and warranty would not cover that.
