Since a few weeks after buying the car new, the battery dies and self resets every few weeks on average. No error codes occur, but the car had clearly lost power while parked, indicating an issue with power management. For the last could months, car now has 26-27K miles and is 21-23 months old, it had mostly stopped resetting. It now is dead when I go out to it, even after only a couple hours of it being parked at night or during the day. I have to manually access the car and use the battery reset button. They observe no error codes. I have read other people have the failure while driving and fear and electrical issue could be a fire hazard. At the very least, it is a personal safety issue in making me take time to access my car, which could increase my risk of being attacked while trying to get into my car safely. It has occurred 5 or 6 times since August 21, most recently on October 8th and 9th.

As I was driving my dashboard lit up with warning lights and audible alarms indicating that I should inspect my regen brake. Safety features such as lane departure, lane assist, blind spot indicator stopped functioning and my speedometer did not work. I stopped the car and looked behind the front wheels and nothing looked -??unusual-??. I restarted the car and all of the alarms went off again, leaving me without a speedometer or the safety features mentioned above. I scheduled an appointment with my dealership explaining what had happened. They did a diagnostic test and determined that it was a faulty E Brake Module that needed to be replaced but is on back order with no parts available in the US to order. Furthermore they do not know when a replacement is available. They reset the sensors so that my safety features were restored. This is the second time within a 14 months of purchasing the brand new vehicle that electrical systems have needed to be replaced. The first time was a faulty wiring harness located in the trunk area that the dealership had said -??must have been damaged during installation at the factory-??. Again-when I driving at highway speeds suddenly the alarms and warning lights were triggered-leaving me without the same safety features, speedometer and power steering/brakes. The dealership was able to replace the wiring harness and the problem seemed to be resolved until this latest incident.

The car will not lock, the signal lights do not function, I cannot open gas door, cannot unlock trunk. I took the care to the service center and they just told me it was the junction box. I saw there was a major recall to this same car for this same problem with 2016. If this is a manufacture issue I think it should be covered by warranty but they are refusing to fix without me filing an insurance claim. My car has been inoperable since June. The hazard lights are on and I cannot operate the vehicle safely without repair of the junction box per service center at Hyundai of Greenville

I first noticed an issue with the voice resignation which also is effecting the messages navigation phone and just recently the lane assist and radar. For 2 weeks I have tried to address this with Hyundai customer service with no proper response the dealer service I stating the computer head is at fault but they have no idea when they will get one from Hyundai. I know the service people will be keeping the car for week to resolve this since the whole dashboard will be removed. I was told a representative from hyundi will be contacting me on the 5th wich I doubt will happen because when I had a problem in April 2023 I was told the same thing I had the phone nearby all day and no one ever called and I am assuming the same will happen on the 5th. This is not a dealer or service dept issue it's a hyundi problem and I am reluctant to use any of the assisted driving or rely on the safety components that this car is individually installed with.

While entering the Highway as I began to accelerate. The car symbol Engine over heating was flashing on the dash board. It was close to the H on the dash board. I pulled off the road. The Car cooled immediately. After I turned the car off to get gas, the Check Engine light came on. The light is still

Our 2022 Hyundai Sonata completely shuts down while driving. We purchased the vehicle in May 2022 and since then it has died over 10 times and has almost caused multiple accidents. We have 3 video footage that we have shown Hyundai corporate and the dealership service technicians. They drive the vehicle a few miles and give it back unable to duplicate it. Hyundai refuses to buyback the vehicle due to safety concerns. We do not know what more we can do and have been working on this since August. We no longer drive this vehicle as it is too dangerous and will eventually cause an accident.

Shifter system malfunction service immediately was displayed on my dash 10+ times which caused me to not be able to shift my car out of drive or whatever gear I was in when this occurred. I was at an intersection and when I was coming to a stop the car displayed this error code and wouldn-??t allow me to go until I turned the car off and on twice till it was able to reset back to park then allowing me to start and shift to drive to actually go. This jeopardizes my safety and the safety of others considering my car could give out or not change gears at any given point. This is extremely concerning. The problem has not been reproduced by the dealership but has been in 2 times for this issue within a month. I took pictures and showed it to the dealership and they said Hyundai won-??t cover it. They felt bad and believed me so much to the point their service department is covering the cost of the Transmission shifter module (TCM) in hopes this will resolve the issue. Only a Hyundai dealership has worked on my vehicle.

The BlueLink subscription service for my Hyundai Sonata includes a feature to see the diagnostic codes my car has or has had. Attached is a document with all of the DTCs my car has reported since I purchased it new in November of 2021. There are 15 stored codes (not active) but they are still concerning to me because they have appeared from before the car was built to about 1000 miles after I purchased it. 5 codes are for the Lane Keep Assist System, 1 for the Electronic Stability Control, 5 for Smart Cruise Control, and 4 for the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Three of the codes occurred after I purchased the vehicle with absolutely no warning or indication of any fault regarding the LKAS system.

Trying to return home(alabama) from Louisiana, I tried using my key fob to get in my car, key fob was not working so I replaced the battery, still not working. Finally was able to get in my car by using the key, only to open the door and had NO POWER to my car, no dash or interior lights. Had to car road side service, they jumped the car off long enough to get the car in neutral to get it on the tow truck and towed to the dealership. Now stuck out of state until the dealership can "get time" to look at my car. This is a brand new car and really didn't expect this but again no matter if it is just a battery issue or something else, Hyundai's car has let me down and left me stranded. This is a huge problem especially when I need to get back home to family and my job so I can pay for this car.
