Fractured windshield from rock strike. Not Hyundai responsiblity. 2 1/2 feet from mirror thru driver view. ISSUE IS: Safelite does not have aftermarket glass. Car is 5 months old. Hyundai says they have zero replacement glass in United States. I can order ($1500), and wait appx 2-3 months. It is illegal both in CA where I reside and federally to drive with fractured windshield. How is it that auto manufacturers are able to not keep safety items reasonably in stock? Covid is long over, I-??m tired of hearing -??supply chain-?? excuse. A brief online review shows Kia/Hyundai has had windscreen issues ongoing for years. I-??m not even certain that all of my mirror resident safety features are working properly.
