Sonata Hybrid

The contact owns a 2011 Hyundai Sonata hybrid. While driving 60 mph, the check engine indicator illuminated and the vehicle stalled. The contact also stated that the battery became drained and could not be recharged. The vehicle was taken to spradley barr motors Inc. (2200 westland rd, cheyenne, wy 82001, 307-638-3335) where it was diagnosed that the oil filter contained metal fragments. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified and stated that they were waiting for the warranty company to diagnose the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 112,000.
