problem #2

Jan 012014

Sonata Hybrid Limited 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 15,000 miles

back-up camera not engaging

Intermittently, the radio will not show the view from the backup camera for up to 30 seconds after shifting the car into reverse. This could definitely be a safety hazard for those who become more dependent on the backup camera for backing up.

Other issues that involve the radio are:

-- Auto dimming function not working properly

-- Screen freezing
