problem #2

Sep 242020

Sonata Hybrid Limited

  • Automatic transmission
  • 63,000 miles

While I was driving the dash gave me a warning about pulling over... due to something with the battery. Anyways, the car just stopped, there was no way I could turn the car on.

All the electrical components worked, but the car would not start. I had to get the car towed to the dealership. I will never purchase a hybrid car again! Three different problems within a matter of a months time.

First of all, I called Hyundai Canada and the only answer was; this is not under the warranty since you have 245000 kilometres!! Nobody told me when I bought the car I had to pay a power supply replacement $2200 Canadian +$4700 Canadian for a Idle hybrid control!! it is insane. Why buy an electric car, paying a prime for it and being ripped off when it is time to repair it!! Hyundai customer service was useless, no empathy and feels ok robbing their customers! Please follow my advice, never buy a Sonata Hybrid. It is to costly to repair. If any one wants to call me feel free 5149715301. Ray
