Tiburon

  • 61,000 miles
The contact owns a 2004 Hyundai Tiburon. While driving 50 mph, the contact activated the driver's side turn signal. The light remained solid and did not flash. When the contact arrived to his destination and turned off the vehicle, the turn signal remained solid and would not dim. After several attempts, he managed to disengage the turn signal, but then the battery failed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for further inspection and they determined that the relay and the body control module failed. The repair would cost $956. A week later, while driving with the cruise control engaged, the cruise control suddenly disengaged without warning. The contact noticed that the speedometer dropped from 70 mph to 0. after a couple of seconds, the cruise control returned without warning. The manufacturer stated that no compensation would be provided because there were no recalls. The failure mileage was 61,000 and current mileage was 65,984.
