On October 17, 2019, I dropped off my 2011 Hyundai Tucson at koon's woodbridge Hyundai to have the underbody corr. Prevent. Svc. 17-01-039 ' 945 - fixed. The dealer has now had my vehicle for over three months and is now refusing to install the replacement subframe (covered under warranty) unless I pay them $1500 for repairs related to the recall.
- Woodbridge, VA, USA
While driving on a flat road surface the rear subframe broke on rear passenger side and car was difficult to control. The car was recalled for corrosion and taken to the dealer March 2017 for this issue I feel this should have been fixed at that time so this wouldn't have happened and I don't think it was done! the car had 150,000 miles at time of recall. I also took my car regularly thru car wash to remove road grime from underneath!
