Tucson 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 68,000 miles

Hyundai declined to tow car all though this was supposed to be covered under warranty. Luckily it happened in my driveway so no-one was hurt. I had to repair the vehicle at another repair shop since Hyundai could not be bothered to help. Will never own one of their vehicles again since the Tuscon had 4 defects and I had a Sonata prior that had numerous defects as well. Hyundai talks about warranty but do not honor promises.

Tucson Limited 4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 8,699 miles

I had my Tucson serviced at 14 000 km, brakes checked. I was told that front brakes need to be replaced! Naturally not under warranty. Vehicle used on a daily basis. How can this be explained....was told that those things happen! Called Hyundai Canada and was told that unfortunately nothing could be done. Is this a manufacturer problem? Totally unsatisfied with the answers I am getting. Has anyone encountered this problem?
