A/C blows hot air

I have a 2015 Hyundai Tuscon that I've owned since Feb 2016. Worst decision ever. 4 times on journey's over 200kms, the AC stops working and starts blowing hot air. It only switches back on after being switched off for a period of time. It makes trips quite uncomfortable especially with two children in the car. I took it into Hyundai who said it didn't "fault" for them so therefore couldn't be fixed. I am furious about this as I now can't take the car on long journey's, which I do quite frequently.
