Bought vehicle from dealership and 20 days later my car shut off as I was driving. Spoke to dealer they had me bring to her mechanic that she use since it was going to be in the shop dealer agreed to put new pads and rotors on. Picked up vehicle, ask them about the problem. They told me that it was all good and that they just cleaned up the mass air sensor that was dirty. Brought vehicle home. Mid of Oct driving down highway/55 mph vehicle shut off again on me this time it went into limp mode. Call dealership back and she wanted me to drive it to shop. I stated I-??d did not feel comfortable driving it 45 miles in limp mode. Local shop Looked at it discussed with dealership. I finally spoke to the shop they gave me the information of the codes. Dealership texted me not phone call told me all about the code It was pulling and recommended that I take it to a Hyundai dealership as there is a service campaign on the vehicle. Dealership sent bank a copy of the service campaign. It states as required by federal law dealers must not place vehicle into customers use until campaign and all open recalls performed on vehicle. Campaign states it is a safety action. Campaign also states Q&A on the campaign. Hyundai strongly encourages customers to get this fixed. Also states what will happen if the wear in the engine bearings are malfunctioning. Also states that dealers will inspect and if necessary replace the engine. this is the second time vehicle has shut off while I was driving on Wisconsin highways. I have informed dealership that it was the second time that it has done this and that it was unsafe. Then I find out that the first shop I took it to that works with the dealership put in a used transmission a new Cadillac converter days before my purchase, and neither in person prior to signing purchase agreement nor on the Wisconsin buyers guide does it show that this dealership replaced anything into this car. I have only driven 1400 miles. I spoke with dealer, she won-??t help!

I bought My SUV on January 14th 2022, and it presented a recall problem on February 05th, 2022. On the way from Bethlehem to New York, my daughter was driving the vehicle, when it slowed down in the middle of the highway, put my daughter live in risks and it did not accelerate and she moved to the edge and called 911. I called the AUTOProved staff, the dealership I unfortunately bought my SUV from, immediately when my car broke down. On February 23rd the warranty company sent me a tow truck, which picked the vehicle to the dealer's shop from my house, and the Dealer's staff have been providing misleading information to me ever since. (They told me I couldn't call Hyundai, because this vehicle was in their name.) Now, I completely understand that my car might not be the only one they or you have to work with, however, as you may notice it's been two entire months and neither the dealership, nor the Hyundai company have provided me with neither a solution, nor any service, or helpful information to my problem. I've exhausted every possible method to get an answer from the dealership. I've emailed them, called them, personally went to the site several times, sent them messages, and they have been giving me false information about my vehicle, ignored my calls, picked up and said they will call me back with information and never called, or say that nothing can be done about my car and/or that it is MY responsibility to pay for the recall problem of my car for it to be fixed after previously telling me that I didn't have to pay for anything and as you state on your letter to me. On March 18th 2022 the AUTOProved staff, told me that my Tucson was towed to their shop and that they will have to work on it because you, Hyundai, refused to fix the problem. Lastly on March 31st I called the Warranty company to claim the rental car refund, but they said that they did have not a claim for the vehicle from the dealer staff.

Previous History: Vehicle already required an engine replacement - short block assembly. Current Details: DTC P01326 - While driving - Check Engine Light blinks & vehicle's acceleration is immediately reduced, causing dangerous disruption to the flow of traffic while merging into traffic from exit ramps, at traffic lights, stop signs, turns etc. Has been to dealer 3x for diagnosis and repair. Jan 2022 - 1st attempt - Knock Sensor replaced (Recall 966 was performed in Nov 2021) 2nd attempt - Knock Sensor software updated - 3rd attempt - Knock Sensor disconnected and reconnected. After each repair attempt the vehicle continued to suffer reduced acceleration and blinking check engine light while driving within a day or two. 4th time - DTC P0087 - Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too Low & DTC P2191 System too Lean at Higher Load (Multiple) (Bank 1). These are "new" codes discovered by subsequent Hyundai dealership after the 3rd repair attempt unresolved by the original selling dealership. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others. The warning check engine lights did appear at the same time as the reduced acceleration and occurred each time spontaneously while driving. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. There are additional complaints involving 2015 Hyundai Tucsons listed on the NHTSA website which I do not see connected to a current or previous recall. However, I do see Hyundai issued a recall # 207 in 09/2021. Please note the similarities of referenced complaints show the first 8 characters KM8JT3AF of the VIN show a direct correlation to manufacturer and engine types. Also note, there is an open unresolved recall # 218 with the potential to cause fires and currently has NO REMEDY available. Recommendations from Hyundai are to park vehicle away from buildings and continue driving even with fire hazard?

On Nov. 4 2020 at 2pm, while driving on F8 East freeway entering the turn onto CA125, my 2015 Hyundai Tucson's engine blew without warning. The dash lights lit as the car lost power the hood blew open and shut and my 31yr old daughter was forced to allow the car to glide to the side of the freeway. In a dangerous spot..she could not see in front of the car until the hood fell back down. The danger is the fact there were no previous warnings, the hood blew up and the car had stopped where there was not sufficient space for other cars to pass without tapping my side mirror and a huge trail of oil left behind. She got over to the passenger seat quickly and rolled down the windows since it was hot out. First she called emergency roadside assistance to tow the car off the freeway. They took over 2 hrs to arrive.while many cars drove quickly by barely missing my car. She called me next in fear of her life and then called her dad and he stayed on the phone with her until the tow arrived.I only have had this car for 1 year. I had an oil change on June 23, 2020 from reg oil to a synthetic blend. Upon calling Hyundai customer care it was suggested to tow the car to the nearest dealer for investigation to see if its covered by warranty. The engine is severely damaged the bearings were destroyed and a rod thrown. The oil filter was blown off. My car had no previous leaks. There is a class action against Hyundai/Kia for my cars year but with theta 1 and !! engines. Mine is a gasoline direct engine that also has problems per car complaints.com. What also makes this particularly dangerous is that I use this car frequently to Transport my 11yr old disabled grandson to rady children's hospital for medical appts since he has cerebral palsy and poor head and neck control. Something like this could have not only snapped his neck but also cause massive fatalities on the freeway..

The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Tucson. While the vehicle was in use, the contact noticed an abnormal fuel odor coming from the ventilation system without warning. The vehicle was taken to doral Hyundai (10285 nw 12th St, #2700, doral, fl 33172, (305) 722-6094) to be diagnosed, but the cause of the odor could not be determined. The vehicle was not repaired and the failure recurred. The contact mentioned that the odor seeped through the ventilation system when the recirculation button was engaged. The contact also mentioned that the engine was replaced three times within the last three months. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures and informed the contact to take the vehicle back to the dealer. The manufacturer provided case number: [xxx]. the failure mileage was approximately 53,000. I was driving on a city street, in the "eco" mode. I turned left, and the vehicle paused forward motion, until I pumped the gas pedal 2 or 3 times. This has happened many times since I purchased the veh. In 2016, with 16,000 + or - miles on the odo. When I turn off the "eco" mode, the problem still happens, though not as often. I left the car at vandergriff Hyundai for a day with N.P.F.

I purchased this car November 8 2014 with 99 miles on it. We've had severe issues with it in the last year. We've had it to the dealership where we purchased the vehicle and they've been in communication with Hyundai in order to fix it. There was no solutions, just "try this & see if it works." In July 2016 I started having medical issues, we've had issues with the vehicle not wanting to start. At first it wasn't wanting to start & then the check engine light came on. We took it to our local dealership and there was a recall on it for the exhaust system, they claimed that was the issue. So that recall was preformed and the light went off. Low and behold the issue was not corrected, the car still had episodes where it would not start. The issue was not something the service department could re-create. Second trip to the dealership for the same issue and they replaced the inhibitor switch, and that also has not worked. Now the check engine light is on again but the code is coming back as the purge valve. The car currently has no power and feels as if the motor could die at any second. I travel away about twice a month for various specialist doctor appointments. My vehicle has left me stranded there several times. I no longer feel my vehicle is safe or dependable for myself or any of my 3 children to be transported in it. I have contacted the Hyundai company directly but no response from them as of yet. For a 2015 model vehicle this may issues is ridiculous!! my husband and I are very disappointed and will never own another Hyundai vehicle!

While driving my car it came to a sudden stop at no time did any service engine light or oil light appeared upon having my car towed home I felt there was no oil in the engine. The oil was just changed July 8th of 2017. My car stopped running August 27th a 2017. I don't understand why I never got a service engine soon or don't understand why the oil light did not appear.
