This was a problem since July 2021, and was finally fixed in October 2021. I brought my car to my local Hyundai dealer, and they insisted it was a battery issue. They forced me to buy a new battery which was dead in three weeks. I brought it back, and they told me it was a defective battery. That battery died two weeks later.
This problem started right after I had the ABS recall done on my car. I asked the dealer to check if they had caused the problem. They refused to look at it unless I agreed to a $125 an hour service charge. I declined and dealt with my car dying every night for months. I eventually brought it to another dealer who found the short in my radio, causing a 1.4-volt parasitic draw. I was charged $900 for the radio to be sent out for repair and $800 in labor. The problem is fixed, but I'm getting rid of the car due to the numerous other electrical issues slowly developing in this car.
