Tucson ECO AWD 1.6L L4 Dohc 16v Turbo

  • Automatic transmission
  • 26,098 miles

Had to remove transmission to replace the dual clutch fly wheel. Frustrating when the vehicle is in mint shape inside & out with only 42,100 km. (Dealership) says Hyundai won't replace dual clutch flywheel, even at a reduced cost. They didn't make mention of the low km but certainly made mention that the vehicle was 6 years old.

The repair required certainly has nothing to do with the make of the vehicle but with the "DUAL CLUTCH FLYWHEEL" itself coming apart. Research on the internet for the "DUAL CLUTCH FLYWHEEL" indicates that this is NOT an extreme problem, but, it certainly is NOT an unusual problem either.

None the least the 2016 Tucson so far has been a great vehicle for us without any issues until the "DUAL CLUTCH FLYWHEEL" incident. Getting 9.3 - 9.8 litres /100km no problem.

Still a driver & fan of the 2016 Tucson Eco AWD - SPORT UTILITY 4-DR - 1.6L L4 DOHC 16V - 7-Speed Automatic.
