I have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson that recently qualified for a new engine under warranty due to excessive oil consumption.
At the first oil change I asked the service advisor why my MPG was down 8-10 miles per gallon, 28 to 20. He blamed it on the gas having more than 10% ethanol due to oil shortages.
I don't think this is true.
Has anyone else experienced a drop like this after the engine replacement?
