Very upset with this car. Always had Santa Fe, never had any trouble with them. This car is a waste of time, will never get another one.

I decided to purchase a Hyundai Tuscon over a Kona because the mileage was listed as 23/30 (26 combined), which I considered low, but not overly so. I live in Los Angeles, so gas is quite expensive here. I drive the car in the "Eco" mode that theoretically conserves gas; it gets between 16-18 mpg in the city, and 20-23 on the freeway. This represents a significant expense that I will be forced to incur based on false advertising.
Update from Aug 11, 2018: Update: The transmission now slips between gears as well. Every time the car shifts, it freezes up in between gears and driver feedback doesn't exist for a second or so. Hyundai has taken no efforts to assist.

I spent a lot of money for this vehicle and looked at the Mfg. card that came with it. The EPA fuel economy said I should get 25 city 30 highway 27 combined. This is one of the features I wanted. I am getting at best 22mpg. Hyundai and dealer says there is nothing wrong with vehicle and has failed to properly explain the reason for my poor fuel mileage. Very upset.

Purchased this vehicle brand new in Oct 2018. This vehicle gets the worst gas mileage, the lights flicker, doesn’t shift at any speed correctly, idles horrible, doesn’t accelerate like is supposed to. Engine makes a horrible sound. Definitely would’ve opted out in buying this vehicle if I knew I would have all these troubles at 2515 miles.
