Tucson SEL 2.5L

[TSB updated Jan 2025: Hyundai must replace all fuel injectors upon failure of one.] Sudden loss of power, engine vibration, rough idle. DTC codes P0219F (air/fuel mixture) and P0304 (cyl #4 misfire). Swapped plugs and coils between cyl #3 and #4, cleared codes. Smooth idle returned. Test drive, misfire began within 0.1 mi. P0304 code returned. Ruled out plug and coil, likely fuel injector. Towed under warranty to local Hyundai shop which agrees TSB #25-FL-001H applied. Picked up the next day. Repair docs showed only one injector was replaced. I challenged the SM with the TSB #25-FL-001H language "Follow the procedure in this TSB to replace all 4 injectors on affected vehicles." Mine is a 2022 Tucson mfr Feb 2022, 5NM-VIN covered under TSB. SM said no only the failing injector is replaced. Left intending to contact Hyundai directly. 36 hrs later the SM called me saying Hyundai sent the warranty claim back to them bcs the TSB wasn't followed: MUST REPLACE ALL 4 INJECTORS. Asked me to bring the Tucson back asap to complete the job. Push back hard if your model is within the expanded mfr date range on the new TSB but your SM doesn't replace all 4.
