At random the car automatically locks and unlocks the door and the lights for locking and unlocking door flash. Had a dead battery due to the problem. Had the battery checked at an auto supply store and was told there was nothing wrong with the battery. Also told the same by the road service that jumped it. I brought it to the dealership the next day and had to have it jumped it again to get there. They told me it was the battery as it had failed, so I bought a new battery. (I really didn't believe them.)
I took the car home and the same day it did the same thing with the doors, so I brought it back. They had me leave the car. The next day I called and they said the car hadn't done it. The only thing I could think of was maybe the battery in my remote was causing the problem, so I bought a new one and picked up the car hoping that was it. About a week had gone by without a problem. Of course I can't keep standing outside to see if it was still doing it.
Last night I got a phone call at 9:30 from my tenant asking me if I was doing something with the remote as the car was doing it again. I went out and started the car to see if the battery was okay. It was. It did start up this morning, but it must've done it again as I had left the car unlocked the night before, but I found it locked. I have no idea how many time it may have done it during the past week, but not enough to drain the battery. I'm calling the dealership up on Monday. Any ideas?????
