I purchased my 2013 Veloster (Remix edition) on July 14, 2013. I've had the car less than 6 months, it has 3505 miles and it won't start. When I press the push button start, the dash lights come on, the alarm works and if I walk more than a few feet from the car with my keys I get a warning alarm. The first instance was 12/22, went out to start the vehicle...just clicking. I got a jump thinking the battery was the issue and the car started right up. I drove it long enough to "recharge" the battery, turned it off for several hours, got back in the car several hours later and no issue starting. I drove home, the car sat overnight and again started when I left for work. Again the car sat several hours, started without issue.
I got home, backed into my parking space and shut off the car. I wrapped up a phone call via Bluetooth in about 3 minutes and suddenly a blue colored strip appeared on the screen with red letters saying something about a failure then it went black. I attempted to start the car and again it won't turn over and I hear only the clicking noise. If it was a battery issue, I believe no lights or alarms would function, but they do. I contacted Roadside Assistance but because of the 2 day holiday at the dealership, they can't look at it until the 26th.
After reading several consumer complaints regarding issues not covered by warranty, I am glad I purchased the additional warranty which is suppose to make it true bumper to bumper coverage, including electronics, for 10 years/100,000 miles (right down to wiper blade replacement). I am hoping someone has had a similar issue and can educate me a bit as to what I can expect to hear from Hyundai's service department before I get there on the 26th. I have owned several vehicles before this one and never needed anything more than an oil change so this is unfamiliar territory for me.

So I went to my car and it would not start, this happened five months ago. I took to the dealer and they told me it was a lose wire and now again the car won/t start and Im so frustrated. When you go out to your car, and it's just 2 years old. and the car does not start, this is bullshit. I should not have this happen, I do not know what to do. Please, if any one has any ideas let me know, the dealer seems not to care, all they want is money.
