I bought a used 2024 Hyundai Venue with 3k miles on Nov 2nd, 2024 from Hyundai Bel Air, MD. On Nov 6th, 2024 I dropped my son at the bus stop in our neighbourhood. When I got out from the parking lot (we dropped him at our church's parking lot) and drove the car, the steering wheel was stiff and when I applied the brake it went out. I had to steer the car to the curb to stop it. It stopped but caused one of the wheel flat and its fender fell off. We called the dealer and after a few arguments they tow our car to their body shop. The Service Department's people said two different things. One person said they couldn't inspect the car unless it was repaired which is should repaired by our insurance. The 2nd person said (few minutes later) that they checked the car and nothing wrong with the brakes. They basically said not responsible for it and asked us to report it to the insurance. We don't wanna report it to the insurance yet as we think it was their responsible. We just bought the car few days. How it happened". This accident scares me to drive the car again. It was good took place in our silent neighbourhood. What if it happened in busy place" We, other could get killed.
