I asked that the navigation be updated with new maps nearly 4 years ago...said the cost was around $300 and to wait for 3 months and the price would drop...called again and said that there were no more cd's/dvd's that contained the updating maps available that I would have to wait till the following year to get an update...called the following year 2014 and was told they were "out" of stock of the discs that contained the updates and they would call me when they were available and would be on a priority list for call backs...CALL NEVER CAME.....

Called again in 2015 and was told the discs had not come in yet and would be notified when they were available...again that call never came..went directly to the dealer for the update and was told the updates were corrupt and that the discs were causing the navigation system including radio/cd/dvd to lock up and be unusable and would never be operational again....REALLY??? OK...I'm not sure what the price of that system costs, but you can bet it was in excess of $1500 when the car was new...that car had less than 30,000 miles when I bought it and the Navigation system had NEVER been updated since it was purchased BRAND NEW..NEVER....so I had bought a car with the maps of 2008 and was lied to about getting the updates...

Hyundai said they were no longer updating the Navigation system so I was stuck....I payed for a working Navigation system with map updates and got nothing..And the car was under factory warranty when I bought it so they cheated me out of a replacement as well....they stole my money and I never saw it coming...this company owes me a new navigation system or the cost of a new radio which they refused to provide without me paying FULL PRICE for a replacement..how damn fair is that????? OH and I will mention that the whole system locks up on occasion and the last time it crashed it took 2 weeks to restart after over 30 times pushing the restart button with a paperclip......sad huh?
