When using the turn signal the headlights will intermittently turn off, and come back on. At times, when using the turn signals, the brights will come on and go off.

Activating the turn signal left or right causes the headlights to suddenly turn off for a second or two at a time. Not bad during the daytime but at night time really creates a dangerous condition. Every-time you go to change lanes and use the indicator the headlights go completely out (Black). I have a service appointment coming up in a week to have someone look at the problem. It's really been an issue with other drivers thinking I'm flashing my lights at them whenever I use my turn signal. Today I looked closer into the problem and It appears as though the turn knob for the headlights that is on the signal arm has become a tiny bit loose. I gave it a good smack right on the tip of the arm towards the wheel and it seems to have fixed the issue (for now) - my lights no longer turn off when I use my indicator. It's definitely an electrical shorting issue with the headlight knob. This has a potential to cause a collision and should be looked at by Hyundai.
