The contact owns a 2001 Hyundai XG300. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 mph, the engine stalled without warning. The vehicle was restarted and driven cautiously on the shoulder. In addition, there was an unexpected acceleration and unknown electrical issues. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnosis. The technician was unable to detect a trouble code. The contact stated that the alternator had been previously replaced by an independent mechanic. The manufacturer was notified of the problem.
