Rear sub frame severe corrosion in critical suspension & frame mounting & attaching areas. And partial loss of braking system due to rupture of rear brake tube due to severe corrosion in rear frame area.

The power steering hose sprang a leak. I had the car towed to an aaa service center. The technician expressed shock when the car was put on a lift because of the amount of frame corrosion, especially in the cradle of the engine, where there was actually a hole. He said he had never seen this kind of problem in a recent vintage car (2002). I bought this car new and it has been in a garage for most of its life. It has fewer than 90,000 miles. I'm told this is a serious safety issue because the engine could fall out at any time. Others should be aware of this problem.
