On my Hyundia i20 2012, my battery was nearly dead, but someone told me my main lights were on. There appeared to be a problem with locking the car too at that time, but I didn't know my lights were on then. I looked at the user manual and it stated there is an audible warning if you open the door while fog lights are on. The car even switches the side lights off, if left on when you exit car, but nothing about main headlights being on when you exit. Why don't Hyundia use the same wiring as the fog light to audibly warn of headlights on? How hard can it be? Did someone just forget about the headlight warning?
Yes, I could buy a Hynes manual and work out how to sort, but this should be rectified by Hyundia, due to their lack of atention to details. I found out the car was built in India. Ok, rant over. Sorry.
