The dash in my G37 is starting to show signs of the dashboard melting. For an upscale vehicle, Nissan/Infiniti seems to have botched the interior materials in this (and several other) models. My car is always garaged as I usually work from home. I also have a custom sunshade that was made for this car so it's not like it sits out in the sun all day taking a beating.

Between this and the airbag issue, I'm beginning to think that Infiniti is a joke as a brand. I will never purchase another Nissan or Infiniti product as they do not stand behind defects that are obviously caused by poor production.
