This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Infiniti dealer.
My car's regular maintenance are always done by the Infiniti dealer.
This issue happened suddenly when I was driving from Calgary to Vancouver and with acceleration weak issue.
Fortunately, I drive it back home and sent it to the dealer, they said the CVT transmission needs be replaced and the cost is CAD10,744.66 for a new transmission.
I'll ask the other transmission repairer to have a look to see if there's another low cost solution that can fix this issue.

I am scared to drive it. It jerks really hard. It is embarrassing when other motorists looks at me while my truck is barely moving and jerking. The motorists blows their horns at me and a couple of them told me I need to get off the road and get the vehicle fixed. The vehicle looks decent on the exterior but has a couple of internal issues.

I was driving my 2014 Infiniti QX60 on the freeway with my son and out of nowhere the QX60 starts shuddering and jerking while driving on the freeway. I was able to pull over to a safe place and originally thought I had gotten some bad gas. So, I drove the car with the shuddering and jerking until fuel tank is empty. I put in some "seafoam" fuel treatment and filled the tank with premium gas. SUV started driving fine until I got to a quarter tank of gas again and shuddering and jerking started happening again.
I took car to local Infiniti dealership and they said the issue was a torn intake boot. Shelled out $400 bucks and the next day the car did the same thing once I got to a quarter of a tank of gas again. After taking SUV into dealership a second time was told about the transmission on this model and it needs replacing at $6940 and it is a known issue, but my mileage is over 94K and outside of the Nissan warranty.
I have driven an Infiniti for over 15 years and add ownership of my Nissan that's 20 years. Very disappointed they can't resolve this issue for a loyal customer.

It's definitely a hinderance, there are problems when merging into traffic or accelerating really. It has to stay in sport mode or it gets worse, in other modes the car jerks violently at low rpm, like it's a stick shift that's gonna stall. It was reset back in 2017 before I got the vehicle but you can definitely tell it's still a problem. I almost got side swiped on the on ramp trying to merge into traffic but it wouldn't accelerate or shift gears...

Purchased 2014 Infiniti QX60..Was not told about extended CVT warranty ending at 94k miles. Now car wont move, catalytic converters and front differential need repaired. Paid for this "fabulous" elite extended warranty that covers literally NOTHING. Even with an existing lawsuit KNOWING this is a defective part, I am told problem occurred AFTER warranty so it is now MY issue. Cost to replace is listed at just under $7000. These cars are way overpriced and the price to fix is ridiculous! Financed $50k for car and have already spent an additional close to $10k in repairs out of pocket because of the "fine line exclusions". STAY AWAY FROM THIS MODEL!!!

I bought this car 8 months ago the car has 68000 miles. I drove it for 14000 miles. No the car transmission start shuddering and juddering. Infiniti warranty for the transmission and the engine is only 770000 miles. Now I have to pay $3000 to fix it. I'm very sad and angry ill never buy a cvt transmission again.

The CVT in the QX60 begins to shudder/stutter at slow speeds (15-25mph at appx 1,500 rpm). It begins at a barely noticeable rate and gets violent as time progresses. It is even noticeable at high speeds.

Hello.
I have a 2014 infiniti Qx60.
The car shudders and vibrates on low RPM and hesitates to drive. I've changed all new plugs and coils set from the same car. But the issue is still there. The mechanic told me that it needs a new transmission. There are no codes except for oxygen sensors. It's really annoying and unsafe as well. Please help.!!
