Look, I LOVE this car. I love the fit, the way it handles, that it fits my wife and our two dogs PLUS all that needs to travel with us on a weekend holiday but...man, I hadn't researched it enough I guess. Transfer case issues and transmission issues are pretty well known. When we test drove this thing it was fantastic, beautiful...and less than 10K miles down the road I first started hearing a low, drone, dry noise. That warning continued to get worse the longer I drove until it was for sure going to leave me stranded. I took it in, they found the issue and I paid out the wazoo for the replacement transfer case and then new tires as it took out the 2 fronts when the case failed. Now, just at one year later...I'm hearing that noise coming back again and I think I have to part ways with this car as much as I HATE the fact I'm going to loose a ton of money on it, I have to get rid of it while it's still driving.
