oil pressure gauge maxs out,gas gauge works up side down

started car last november oil pressure gauge maxed out, gas gauge flipped completely under & sometimes never moves at all. have to turn on how for can you go with the gas you have in it so you dont run out. HHHEEELLLPPP!!!
