Rodeo 4WD 6-cyl

  • 110,000 miles
My 1998 Isuzu Rodeo has been having a problem with a very high idle somewhere between 1800 and 2300 RPM more often than not this can cause the brakes to wear down faster and ofcourse it consumes way too much gas I know that I can own another car but it is not right that I can't even find the right source for this dilemma the official Isuzu wed site does not even have a referral or any attachment to make any kind of complains or at least a way out of this problem. I've change many components but still not problem resolve. If you google this issue you will realized that it's been a problem that hasn't been addressed by any means everyone's guessing but my biggest fear is that I suspect that there has been many close calls of near proportions to having accidents of serious consequences. Could you please address this issue pronto before anybody gets killed. I'm somewhat of an expert on cars I drive many different types but I've to be honest with you: I'm kind of afraid to drive my own car. I commute at least 50 miles per day. I have no choice in the meantime I need help. My resources are not that abundant as a matter of fact this car is a fine car but the parts are very expensive nonetheless I try to keep up with it as far as maintenance is concern and then some but I feel that in the hands of an average joe believe me they wouldn't be able to afford the repairs let alone the up keep. This is why I try to more than the average person to have my car running fine and care free. Please help. Sign distress driver from nyc.
