ABS brakes light came on and stayed on. Also, had to unplug fuse due to the fact it was drainnig the battery. Brakes were inoperative.

The ABS air pump continues to run even with the key off. The battery cavle must be removed for it to stop. The parts person at the dealer said this was a major problem in 1998. He thought it was a recall problem but the service dept. Said it was not.
