  • 105,000 miles
2001 Isuzu Rodeo ls 4dr 4WD SUV, climate control fan switch stopped operating. The unit was removed from the dash and an investigation concluded the switch was overheated and caused it to fail. The entire climate control unit was replaced and worked fine thereafter. A year later in may of 2010, the unit stopped operating once again and a small amount of smoke poured through the dash where the unit is located. It was removed once again and the wire connection to the fan switch melted to the unit this time. I can not find anyone who is willing to repair it this time and have found several other forums online where other owners of this particular vehicle are having similar problems.
