problem #2

Trooper SE 3.2L V6 Sohc

  • Automatic transmission
  • 150,000 miles

Oil in spark plug wells resulting in fouled plugs, lose of power, and black exhaust.

New Isuzu Trooper plug wires have two ridges around the plug wire stim that keeps the oil from fouling the plug.

It doesn't prevent the oil from getting to the plug wells, but keeps the plug clean.

We have discovered oil in each one of the spark plug wells and have been told everything from replace the engine to just replace the valve cover gasket. So I was wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem and if so what was the cure?
